Frontline Medical Communications has embarked on a corporate initiative to understand the challenges HCPs face in diagnosing and treating patients with rare diseases. In our efforts to support this important subject, we conducted research which confirmed the overwhelming need among healthcare providers for greater awareness, collaboration, networking, training and education. Our research identified key professional resources to aid HCPs in their diagnosis of rare diseases, available treatment options and management strategies of these disorders. By identifying learning gaps and preferences and uncovering the unmet professional needs of our readers, Frontline seeks to work with the biopharmaceutical industry and organizations such as NORD to develop innovative educational programs to effectively address these information needs, ultimately serving affected families and patients.
