FOR ON-THE-GO DERMATOLOGISTS
Stay on Top With Dermatology Weekly
On-the-go dermatologists can stay up-to-date with news and peer-to-peer interviews with Vincent A. DeLeo, MD, in the Dermatology Weekly podcast. Each episode of Dermatology Weekly—posted every Thursday—features the top stories from Dermatology News and physician commentaries on their research. Dr. DeLeo, Editor-in-Chief of Cutis, also talks with his colleagues on clinical topics published in the journal. A Resident Takeover once a month offers medical students and residents content geared to them, with Cutis resident columnists discussing matters important to physicians in-training.
Addressing dermatology residents, Dr. DeLeo spoke about the specialty in an episode where the tables were turned and he was interviewed by guest host Candrice Heath, MD. He said, “Give a great deal of thanks that you are in one of the most amazing professions in the universe. It is so rewarding. Remember you need to be the expert. You are the expert in skin, hair, and nails, so you always need to keep learning . . . It’s something you have to do. You have to keep up with all of the literature when you’re seeing your patients so that you can provide the best to them.” Dermatology Weekly strives to give all dermatologists—from those in training to those who have been practicing for years—the opportunity to learn more while working out at the gym, driving in the car, or waiting in the airport.
